FiveThirtyEight.com: Electoral Projections Done Right: The Persistent Myth of the Bradley Effect
“Obama also outperformed his polls in the Midwest and the West (although there is not much data to go on in the latter case). The one region where Hillary Clinton overperformed her numbers was in the Northeast, bettering the pre-election trendline by 1.8 points. Recall that the Bradley Effect...

NY Times profile of Cindy McCain
“Physically, she seems fragile: she suffers from migraines, hobbled around on crutches last year after a knee injury and recently wore a wrist brace because of a handshaking injury.”
Wait, a handshaking injury? Who is this woman, Eddie Izzard?

Latimer Deli: bike thieves?
http://mystolenbianchi.blogspot.com/2008/09/screw-you-latimer-deli.html
The police called me the other day, saying they had raided a bunch of places and one of the bikes they found might have been mine.
This guy here got a call about the same bike (didn’t belong to either of us, sadly), and apparently it was found in the basement of Latimer Deli. I must find a new Sparks supplier.
